First of all, yes, this is a real truck.
Now that we have that out of the way, it’s actually a Subaru Sambar kei truck. These tiny trucks can usually only reach a maximum of 75 mph and have no more than 11ft. The main use in Japan for these bite sized trucks is for agriculture, fishers, and construction. Other Kei truck examples include the Suzuki Carry, Daihatsu Hijet, and Mitsubishi Minicab.

The owner of this Sambar seems to be less worried about the freight capacity as he is about getting some more power in style. Notice the NOS tank in the rear.

The odd shape of the truck keeps making me do a double take to it. I definitely appreciate the dedication and work that the owner has done to it, though it might not be my style. I’d go with a army green one…
For good measure, check out a couple other examples of Kei trucks that have been modified below. Only in Japan can you find such extreme examples of what is most commonly a work truck – so extreme that the original purpose of the truck has been completely diminished in favor of form.

This silver one is actually pretty sick and could definitely see something like this happening in the states if we got these kei-trucks.

The KSport Kontrol Pro coilover pre-order for the Scion tC2 2011-2012+ is officially over and has shipped out, finally! Those of you in the pre-order have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of these super-low, high quality, and budget friendly coilovers to slam your tC2. KSport had a bit of a hiccup with the fitment of the perches and made many changes to ensure the quality and fitment was spot on, and the final product is definitely worth the wait! The crew at Bean Garage wants to thank everyone for their patience through the last few months.

The height and damper adjustable KSport coilovers are a perfect match for the new Scion tC which just begs to be modified. Whether you are looking to get a 4″ drop or autocross your tC2, the KSport coilovers are a fantastic option. They also did a good job at being an early market entry since there are few options for tC2 owners out there.
If you missed the group buy, then you can still snag a set at Bean Garage for $975 including shipping in the 48 states for the full set of adjustable KSport coilovers.

If you already have coilovers for your Scion tC2, then check out the rest of the parts we offer for the car to take it to the next level. We have the new Tanabe 4 point underbrace available as well as the Five Axis lip kit, in addition to a wide selection of wheels and Cusco front strut bar. If it’s Scion tC, Bean Garage has it!

The Mini Coupe hasn’t been out that long really, but check out this modded example sitting lowered on Work Meister CR01s! The turbo 1.6 two door little Mini Coupe is the perfect city car with the pep to get around for those mountain roads too.

The owner did not skimp around on this John Cooper Works edition Mini either. He has outfitted the interior with Recaro SR-7 bucket seats and lowered the car on Aragosta Type E coilovers. This, combined with the wheels and rare JCW kit makes for a fun, stylish drive.

What do you think? Would you rock the Mini Coupe? The 1.6 turbo, front wheel drive two seater kind of car is always appealing to me. I’m sure that if I grew tired of the engine performance, a few aftermarket accessories could save the day…
